I LOVE your place, but where are the not so kiddie/cartoon movies for date night? it would be nice to see more movies aimed at the adult crowd on weekends

I've been going to Shankweiler's since I was a little kid and the whole family would go, with me and my brother already dressed in our PJ's because we would never be able to stay awake for both movies. Some of my happiest childhood memories are at this place and I look forward to planning an outing with all my college friends at Kutztown this summer to come out to Shankweiler's for some good ol' fashioned drive in time. Already been with the family once this summer, and I can't wait to share this wonderful place with my friends.

When we moved to Orwigsburg and found out there was nolonger a drive in here (Deer Lake Drive in), we were very upset. So glad you are still open. Maybe you will show Eclipse on the 30th? That would be AWESOME!!!!

Visited Shankweiler's for the first time last night. Brought back so many memories, and made new one's with my own kids. The prices are also very reasonable! Thanks for keeping this tradition alive!!

We took our family last year on a whim and went back several times. The kids have been asking all winter when we can go back. Our daughter told her Girl Scout troop all about Shankweilers, so I will be bringing the Girl Scouts in a few weeks. What a great experience all around! We recommend Shankweilers to everyone!

I really missed it when they tore it down to make a Target and Lowes

This Drive-In is GREAT The employees are nice and the price is really good especially for those who are like me and can't spend too much. I also like the fact that the movies are ones that are recent. Definitely a good place to come with friends and/or family
